At AquaBloom we believe something as everyday as a shower deserves care. That's why we created AquaBloom: a filtered shower head with a visible window, so you always know what's happening with the water you use.
How it all started
AquaBloom was born from a very homely problem: tight skin after every shower and rough, dull hair, no matter how often we changed shampoo, hair mask or moisturiser. One day we asked ourselves the question that changed everything: what if the problem wasn't the products, but the water?
We spent months researching. We looked at what's in tap water city by city, why it's disinfected with chlorine and what that chlorine does to your skin and hair when you shower in hot water every day. We also found something that surprised us: many shower heads sold as "filtering" only contain cotton, which traps sand but lets chlorine straight through.
So we started testing. We ordered different shower heads and filters, used them for weeks in our own showers and compared them one by one: what they really filtered, how long they lasted, how the pressure felt and how easy they were to change. We kept the only one that ticked every box:
- Calcium sulfite beads that reduce chlorine, even with hot water.
- A pre-filter that traps sand, rust and sediment from the pipes.
- A visible window so you can see the filter and know when to change it.
- More pressure with a concentrated spray and a massaging silicone ring.
- A filter you change in one minute, no tools needed.
